Mark Hartt-Palmer studied violin with Frances Mason at the Royal College of Music. Solo performances have included the concertos of Mendelssohn, Bruch, Sibelius, Dvořák, Tchaikovsky and Elgar. He gave the Canadian premiere of the Coleridge-Taylor concerto with the Divertimento Orchestra in Ottawa in April 2008.
Mark has given numerous recitals in the UK and Europe; performances have included rare repertoire for violin and organ as well as lesser-known sonatas by English composers including Stanford and Parry.
