LT Com Terje Alexander Grøndahl has studied Trombone, Conducting and Composition at The Norwegian Academy of Music. He undertook Postgraduate Studies in Composition at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire of Music and a Master´s degree from The University of Oslo. Since 1984 he has worked as Bass Trombonist in The Royal Norwegian Navy Band, but he has also worked over longer periods with The Norwegian Radio Orchestra and The South Jylland Symphony Orchestra in Denmark. Besides being an accomplished instrumentalist, Terje also conducts and composes music.
